Jamie Lynn Pushes for Wedding!

Posted by Jack on 09 Jan 2009 in Jamie Lynn Rumors

Is Jamie Lynn Spears following his brothers' footsteps anytime soon? Zimbo's sources reveal that a dress has been picked, invitations have ordered, and a cake has been arranged. All that's left is a wedding date!

Jamie Lynn Spears is pushing ahead with her wedding plans.

Despite rumours that the relationship between the 17-year-old actress and her fiance Casey Aldridge has been strained recently, the couple are determined to tie the knot soon.

A source said: "Jamie has her heart set on getting married to Casey, and wants her big day to be as special as possible."

Jamie Lynn, who gave birth to the couples' daughter Maddie seven months ago, has already chosen her wedding dress - a Monique Lhuillier gown.

Even though a date for the wedding has not yet been confirmed, the invitations have been ordered and a three-tiered chocolate cake arranged.

The couple has had a tough time recently since the birth of Maddie, adjusting to life as new parents and dealing with stories of Casey's alleged cheating.

Last August, it was claimed Casey had been sleeping with Kelli Dawson until Jamie Lynn was six months pregnant.

Casey has always vehemently denied reports he was unfaithful.

Jamie Lynn Decoy demands $2 Mil?!

Posted by Jack on 08 Jan 2009 in Jamie Lynn News

Jamie Lynn Spears' decoy is demanding $2 Million USD or she'll sue.

A woman who police used as a decoy for Jamie Lynn Spears at Los Angeles International Airport in September is now demanding airport police pay her $2 million, or she will sue.

A lawyer for Adessa Eskeridge has filed a claim for damages against the LAX Police Department, suggesting that the woman was used as a “decoy” for the famous teenager in September 2008 without her consent.

Eskeridge’s attorney, R.J. Molligan claims Eskeridge was “not given any details as to the nature of the task or of the potential danger involved. She simply followed the instructions of the police as most good citizens would do.”

In her filing, Molligan alleges that LAX police “did not want to subject Ms. Spears to the pushing, shoving, humiliation and possible physical injury that come with the paparazzi, but instead decided that Ms. Eskeridge was not important enough to give the same protections to.”

The lawyer claims her client was “never informed that upon deplaning, she would be mobbed by the paparazzi, that she would be in fear of her well-being, that her picture would be taken, (and) that video of her would be all over the Internet.”

Molligan alleges that Eskeridge was “deceived and manipulated” by the LAX police. She also claims that her client “suffered and continues to suffer great humiliation” as a result of the incident.

In her statement, Molligan adds that the incident of last September counts as a “false arrest.”

Molligan notes that her client is “willing to consider a reasonable and fair settlement that fully compensates her for the humiliation, fear and harassment that she has been subjected (to) at the hands of LAX-PD.”

The reasonable settlement Molligan is requesting for her client is $2 million.

Here's a neat follow-up article on Jamie Lynn Spears' older brother's wedding on New Years Eve! The following article was published by People's Mary M.

Britney Spears made it a cozy New Year's Eve with her family – seeing big brother Bryan, 31, tie the knot in a private ceremony at New Orleans landmark Latrobe's on Royal.

"It was beautiful," a source tells PEOPLE about the elder Spears's wedding to Graciella Sanchez, 36, longtime manager of little sister Jamie Lynn. "It was only close family, very small and intimate."

While the couple's engagement may have caught many by surprise – they only recently started dating seriously – the two have been acquaintances for years.

"The family was totally excited," a friend of the family tells PEOPLE. "Graciella's wonderful. Everybody was happy about it."

The bride looked stunning in a beige-white Carolina Herrera dress, while the groom sported a smart Marc Jacobs suit. As for the guests? Sanchez's mother and brother were in attendance, as was the entire Spears crew including sisters Britney and Jamie Lynn; their kids Jayden James, Preston and Maddie; Jamie Lynn's fiancé Casey Aldridge; and parents Jamie and Lynne.

Jamie Lynn Spears' Decoy May Sue?

Posted by Jack on 31 Dec 2008 in Jamie Lynn Rumors

TMZ reports that Jamie Lynn's Decoy (from awhile back) is claiming that she was forced into being Jamie Lynn Spears' decoy. Refer to the video below if you are not aware of the "Jamie Lynn airport decoy" awhile back.

TMZ has learned the L.A. Airport Police and the City of Los Angeles may end up getting sued over a bungled attempt to protect Britney Spears' sister, Jamie Lynn.

Last September 11, when Jamie Lynn flew to Los Angeles, LAX cops tried to divert the paparazzi by using a decoy whom they escorted to baggage claim. The impromptu decoy -- Adessa Eskridge -- happened to be on the same plane as Jamie Lynn.

Eskridge's lawyer, Chuck Vernon, tells us one of the cops told Eskridge as she got off the plane, "You're going to help us with something." He says it was almost as if she was taken into custody. Vernon says cops told Eskridge to walk with them as they made their way to baggage claim.

Vernon says as the eight officers escorted his client, she took her sunglasses off but they told her to put them back on. As they reached the bottom of the escalator, she was suddenly and unwittingly besieged by paparazzi.

Jamie Lynn was able to beat a hasty retreat from the airport, undetected by the media.

Vernon says Eskridge has filed a claim for money with the City of L.A., a prelude to filing a lawsuit. Vernon says a City rep from Risk Management contacted him yesterday. Vernon vows, if the claim is rejected, Eskridge will file a lawsuit claiming false arrest and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
