Jamie Lynn plans to get a Business Degree

MTV published an article regarding Jamie Lynn Spears' relationship status with Casey Aldridge. Most of the information below is based on this week's OK! magazine. (What's New then?) Jamie Lynn Spears is planning to get a Business degree in college after Maddie Briann gets settled.

Jamie Lynn Spears goes on the record in the latest issue of OK! Magazine about the nature of her relationship with fiance Casey Aldridge, amid rumors that the father of her 3-month-old daughter Maddie Briann has been unfaithful to the former "Zoey 101" star.

Shortly after Spears, 17, gave birth to their daughter in June, tabloids began to report that Aldridge, 19, was seeing other women and had gotten one of them pregnant. In the OK! interview, which took place at the couple's Mississippi home, Aldridge denied the allegations, noting that small-town politics had a lot to do with the rumors surfacing.

"In a small town, everybody knows everybody," he told the magazine. "But when money's involved, you find out who your friends are."

Meanwhile, Spears defended her fiance and accused the women who alleged that Aldridge was dating them of doing it for the attention. "What happened was that one of those girls did it, and in this small town when one of them does it, they're all like, 'Good idea,' " she explained. "They all jumped on the bandwagon."

She also flat-out denied any rumors that 28-year-old Kelli Dawson is pregnant with Aldridge's child, saying that Dawson has a reputation for not telling the truth. "That is just completely fabricated," Jamie Lynn added. "He never had an intimate relationship with her, so how would that be possible? Around here, that particular girl is known to make up stories."

But what bothers Spears the most is the fact that she and Aldridge's family have to deal with the media scrutiny. "It hurt me to hear those things, because my family has to read it. It's not fair to them," she said. "Casey's family is not used to this. They might assume it's true. My family knows it's not. It was definitely harder for Casey's family to deal with it, but you just explain that it is part of this business."

Spears said her own family is standing behind the young couple while they raise their daughter in the eyes of the media. "They know if I were in a relationship like that, I wouldn't put up with it," she said. "My family supports me, and they support Casey also. They read those stories and take them with a grain of salt."

When asked about the future, the couple said they intend to marry, but not any time soon. Spears said she wants to wait until Maddie is old enough to take part in the ceremony. "We are engaged, and we are really happy with where we are right now," she said. "There isn't a rush for anything."

However, they are working on their futures: Aldridge is studying process technology at Southwest Mississippi Community College. And, once the baby gets older, Spears also hopes to attend college.

"I want to get my business degree. I could take online courses right now, but with Maddie being so young, it's hard to sit down and focus," she said. "I do want to go to college and get my degree."

Jamie Lynn's Wedding still her plan

Jamie Lynn Spears have gone further to silence previous rumors of her splitting with Casey Aldridge. She has told OK! that the only thing holding back her wedding is the fact that Maddie Briann is still too young to be an intricate part to their wedding. Additionally, reliable sources have revealed that Jamie Lynn Spears is NOT pregnant (in order words, recent rumors are entirely false).

JAMIE LYNN SPEARS and her fiance CASEY ALDRIDGE have blasted rumours of a split - insisting they are still very much a couple and plan to marry one day.

The teen couple - parents of four-month-old baby Maddie - have become the subject of much tabloid speculation in recent months, with reports suggesting they are living apart, after Aldridge cheated on the 17-year-old actress.

But in an interview with OK! magazine the pair insists the infidelity rumours are false, and maintain a wedding is planned once their baby daughter is old enough to take part in the ceremony. Spears says, "We both agree we want Maddie to be a little bit older so that we she can be a part of it, so that she won't just be sitting there the whole time.

"We are engaged and we are really happy with where we are right now. There is no rush for anything." Meanwhile, a representative for the teenage actress has denied reports Jamie Lynn is already pregnant with her second child.

The publicist states, "She is not pregnant."

Jamie Lynn and Casey reveals to OK!

Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge have revealed to OK! Magazine directly. The couple claimed that previous rumors regarding Casey cheating is entirely false! They claimed that Kelli Dawson was tempted by money and that she's a typical (false) gossip initiator in their community. However, one ought to wonder why Casey wasn't at the party Britney Spears threw for her boys. Below is the preview to the OK! issue coming out this Thursday.

In a rare, exclusive interview, new parents Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge have reached out to OK! to defend themselves and their relationship against the tidal wave of rumor that has nagged them since the June 19 birth of their adorable baby daughter, Maddie Briann.

A recent series of scurrilous tabloid stories have alleged that not only has 19-year-old Casey been unfaithful to Jamie Lynn, but that he's also gotten another woman pregnant. The stories insist that the couple's relationship is a sham and that he is still seeing other girls!

On the topic of former friend Kelli Dawson, who claims to have been romantically involved with Casey, even after Maddie's birth, he tells OK! these allegations of infidelity are "not the least bit" true.

As for reports he impregnated Kelli, a stunned Casey told OK!, "That's news to me."

Recap: Who should get custody of Maddie Briann?

Our second poll in September 2008 asked Jamie Spears Insider viewers, "who should get custody of Maddie Briann" (assuming the rumors on that Casey and Jamie Lynn have split are true). Out of the 801 viewers who voted, 83% favored Jamie Lynn Spears, 4% sided with Casey Aldridge, and the remaining 14% suggested that both should get custody.

...AND the conflicting reports continue to show up. Yesterday, People Magazine claimed to have spotted them together at a game. Today, National Ledger releases an article suggesting that they may stick together for Maddie...

It has been a turbulent time for Jamie Lynn Spears.  Less than four months after the birth of their daughter, Maddie, Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge are calling it quits, reports Life & Style Weekly.  "Romantically, there is nothing left between them," says a Spears family insider.  "Jamie Lynn hoped that having Maddie would settle Casey down, but the cheating scandal finally hit home."

As previously reported by the weekly entertainment magazine complete with pictures of a woman named, Kelli Dawson and she claimed she had a fling with Casey while Jamie Lynn was pregnant.  Casey said that is wrong and he has denied he's cheated, the magazine reports.

And though Casey's pals tell Jamie Lynn, 17, that he does love her, they say his feelings are "not enough for him to commit to being a husband," adds the insider.  Will they patch things up and ever make it to the altar?

The magazine claims that Casey, 19, is no longer living in the couple's Liberty, Miss., home.  "He's welcome to see Maddie whenever he wants, but that's it," says the insider.  "Her family isn't unhappy about it.  Everybody on Jamie Lynn's side is tired of making excuses.  They had to do it for years with Kevin [Federline, Britney's ex]!"

Jamie Lynn Spears, watching the LSU Tigers battle the Mississippi State Bulldogs with fiancé Casey Aldridge at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. Before the game, the casual pair hung in the Tiger Suites on the stadium's east side. But they watched the match from a luxury suite. On the way to the suite, Spears stopped to sign autographs and take pictures with young fans, while Aldridge stood by holding her purse. "She was just mingling," the source says.
